Hello! My name is Becky and I design with people—from high school students to teachers, city residents to government employees, physicians to caregivers of kids with asthma—to make schools, clinics, neighborhoods, and cities better and more equitable places.
I’m currently a Presidential Innovation Fellow with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division and Office for Access to Justice. As a fellow I’m focused on bringing human-centered design methods and mindsets to DOJ to ensure that our touch points with the public are accessible, equitable, and easy to use.
Previously I worked as Associate Director of the Center for Social Design at MICA where I led projects that brought students together with non-profits, private institutions, and public agencies to advance equity and social justice through human-centered design.
